Pinecrest Premier Title (PPT) was developed when its founders Sam F. Maguire and Greg M. Herskowitz recognized a need in the community for a title and escrow services company that made customer service, rather than profits, its number one priority. 

Both attorneys and long-time friends, Maguire and Herskowitz know that real estate transactions can be confusing, and customers are often anxious and uninformed about the closing process.  Pinecrest Premier Title is committed to providing unparalleled customer service and a “stress-free” experience from contract to closing.  This is achieved through the extensive combined experience of Maguire and Herskowitz, the innovative technology developed by Maguire and utilized by PPT, and the company’s dedication to excellence in customer satisfaction. 

Pinecrest Premier Title services clients in both residential and commercial transactions throughout the state of Florida, including homeowners who wish to re-finance their homes or take out a home equity line of credit.

Sam F. Maguire- Real Estate Attorney

A veteran real estate attorney, Sam Maguire’s expertise encompasses the full spectrum of the industry.  Before becoming an attorney, Maguire was a mortgage banker for nearly a decade.  He is also a licensed real estate agent.  Maguire completed his undergraduate studies in 1986 at the University of Georgia, where he received a B.A. Degree in Economics.  He earned his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1993 from Atlanta Law School, and is a member of the Georgia Bar Association.  Maguire is married with one child and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. 

In addition to Pinecrest Premier Title, Maguire also founded The Law Offices of Sam F. Maguire and its in-house title examination company, Augusta Title, Inc.  The firm is located in Georgia and performs closings for residential and commercial properties.  Since its opening in 1994, the firm has grown into the highest volume producer for a single proprietor in the state.   

Sam Maguire has extensively studied technology in the real estate industry, and because of his vast knowledge in this area, has been asked to contribute to professional journals by authoring articles on technology in the real estate industry.  Maguire’s development of his own innovative software technology has made him a pioneer in the field of title and escrow services.  This technology is noted for educating homebuyers and sellers, especially first-time buyers who are unsure about the process.  

Both a public speaker and motivator, Sam Maguire also established Maguire University, which offers a variety of classes, including Reading a Settlement Statement, What is Title Insurance?, and What is the Real Mortgage Rate?.

Greg M. Herskowitz- Real Estate Attorney

A life-time resident of Miami, Greg Herskowitz has been practicing law in Florida for over ten years.  Herskowitz completed his undergraduate studies in 1994 at the University of Florida, where he received a B.A. Degree and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate Degree with Honors at the University of Miami School of Law in 1997.  He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1997, and is married with three children. 

After three years of community service litigating thousands of cases at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, Herskowitz went into private practice.  Before forming a partnership with Sam Maguire and developing Pinecrest Premier Title, Herskowitz litigated commercial disputes and handled residential and commercial real estate transactions.  Unhappy with the service provided to his clients by other title companies, Herskowitz decided to put all his time and energy into integrating Maguire’s innovative software technology into title and escrow services in Florida.  This technology streamlines the closing process, thereby eliminating the client’s confusion and stress over the transaction. As a result, Herskowitz is quickly becoming known for his unrelenting dedication and willingness to go the extra mile to provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
